    The Israeli government has cut off food, water, and fuel to 2 million people inside Gaza as part of its campaign to stamp out Hamas terrorism. Collective punishment is not only contrary to international law, it is inhumane and illogical. It is what my community once endured in World War II, all because of the actions of others who happened to share our ethnicity. Have we learned nothing? How will this possibly help deescalate the violence rather than radicalize many more? It is madness.

    Sure yes, agree, but also watched video of Hamas launching 100s of rockets at Israel while crowds of people were watching, cheering, clapping and hooting.

    How many of us warned of this scenario? It's here. And it will increase. Urgent action is needed. Fixing healthcare should be a prime election platform across this country.

    I'd pay a little more in taxes to have proper healthcare.

    And I'd expect the rich, and profitable corporations to pay a lot more.

    Public healthcare saves the public money, and makes us happier, healthier and stronger, all of these things have the wierd side effect of growing the economy.

    Good news from Manitoba.

    I didn't see much about the campaign, so I'm curious what the MNDP will do with their majority.

    Seems like it would be a good opportunity to make the federal LPC walk-the-talk, maybe enough time for 1 big thing, like cementing pharmacare or something.

    Could they get a province off the endless healthcare hamster wheel?

    Trade in their notwithstanding clause for constitutional guarantees of healthcare?

    Or will they fritter away a majority with routine politics?

    A key thing to understand about the NDP is that we aren't driven by corporations like the Liberals and Conservatives.

    We are litteraly build from the ground up with common people.

    Today I hit 15K followers on Threads, about 95K less than I had on Twitter, and about 6K more than I have on here.

    Worth tracking because — while the media likes to talk about Threads's struggles — it shouldn't be counted out, especially with federation on the horizon.
