My current instance has only blocked because of being cautious over how the will handle the traffic.

With the whole thing I think there is generally a fear of missing out that makes people want to go . That's why and remain so popular.

But to go to, and remain on, part of the whose instances have chosen to opt out would probably make a more enjoyable, meaningful experience.

Finding people with similar interests is much more fruitful that knowing what some boring celebrity has to say, or to listening to a middling centrist crowd have their say.

I just skimmed over a blog post that said that with joining the there's no point in blocking. They can already scrape your online data, so you're already fucked so basically give up now you asshole.

But we know the tone is going to change around here. Just like it did when there was a huge influx from Twitter.

And, yeah, blocking is probably not going to do anything. You'll see the influence through a friend of a friend. So basically, you're already fucked you asshole.

Listening to this #podcast of 28 Days Later I'm reminded of the styled hair of one of the characters ... Like where did she get the hair straighteners from?

There is a scene in #Supernatural where it is revealed Charlie's mother has been in a coma for ten years or something.

And not only has someone been cutting Charlie's mum's hair, but they've also been dying it a reddish colour.

Is that a normal thing? idk

It's not technically a but Christmas is referenced, and it does contain Christmassy magic and a mysterious Santa Claus-looking Japanese man

Either the batteries I'm using for my are the wrong type of batteries, or the on off switch is going a bit glitchy, or metal clips in the little bed place where the battery lies have gone a bit loose ...

Because occasionally when I turn my on, it decides not to work.

I'm listening to do and it's a movie I haven't seen for literally a thousand years ...

But apart from the obvious logic flaws in the writing, I really enjoyed the first half ...

But the second half with the army platoon thing ... That was just crappy. I'll give it another watch, but they changed the tone too much in the second half and it's a bit stupid in my opinion.

You know, there are a couple of poor decisions towards the end of season 8 that just don't sit well with me.

The first is, they bring out all of Abaddon's body parts, but decide not to draw any devil's traps, and rely solely on the bullet in her head.

I mean, that's some amateur BS right there.

Then, to stop the Winchesters shutting the gates of hell, they make Dean chose his brother over completing the task. Like, hmm, which is more important? ..

idk There's something subtly unnerving about the change of Twitter to X

I know it's just rebranding and just the name of a social media site, but in terms of branding/marketing everyone can see it's a bad move

Like if you changed your business name to some random letter, it would probably confuse people and do your business harm

But with Twitter and Elno being so famous, the name change doesn't really matter

And there's something wrong with that

And it speaks of idiots with a lot of power

But I would have thought folk in the US would like a little bit of standard British English on occasion.
