@lydiaconwell@mas.to

Writer or artist or something. Probably nothing. - London.

If you want to know the main theme of this account ... I generally like to critique things. I usually critique art, books, TV, Movies, etc. And quite often I'm interested story structure and logic. I guess that's my USP or something.

I post either on the Fediverse or on my #PsychicDrool blog.

I love avant-garde stuff, love noisy music. I'm currently into John Coltrane. Got shit I've written on Smashwords.

I don't have many followers. And I'm too feeble to actually work on my feed to gain followers.

Perhaps you all can boost this on my behalf?

I found a good way to deal with and when they call.

Answer the phone with:

"Please state the nature of the medical emergency."

When I tried that, they hung up straight away!

X is the perfect name for something you ditched a long time ago

You know developers or whoever:

The follow/unfollow icon in the notifications feed is a bit confusing and sometimes I find I either haven't followed back, or I've unfollowed accidentally.

Maybe a bit more of a colour difference? But I think the X icon appearing after you follow someone is just a bit confusing.

It's like it's visually saying you're not following.

Maybe turn it into a tick or something? idk

Celebrity: This centrist, pro-war politician is great. Please support them.

And that is why celebrities are not on your side. They are part of the global media complex that cheerleads inequality and oppression.

Not because are shitty enablers.

I guess that's what you get when you go with a more general instance.

You can't really follow art hashtags on fedi unless you want to be spammed by bad artists.

It's a shame there isn't more of a contemporary art scene on the Fediverse.

I mean, if you follow movie hashtags you don't get a load of home movies, you get people talking about real movies.

The art hashtags have been hijacked by the amateur.

I saw a bit of that Piers Morgan interview with and Corbyn really stood out for his poor arguing skills

He literally had a major bellend sitting right in front of him, but was unable to hit home the point that Morgan is a major bellend

Corbyn doesn't have any bite, or any rapier wit. The problem with the bellends in the who ask him questions is that they frame the argument in a simplistic, pro-western way then ask for a yes or no answer

Fuck them!

I wish Corbyn was better

How powerful are these? I bet they have up to 64k RAM or something

I think this is a CDC 6600 with a man standing inside it like some weirdo. There are more computers at the back & they look like washing machines. I think maybe this man took his CDC 6600 into a laundrette or something. Maybe that's what laptops were in those days. He's just doing some work while he waits for his pants to be washed

Maybe the guy isn't wearing any pants. That's why he's standing inside the computer

You know on / ...

Well, I was thinking ...

As far as I know, if someone comments and you block them, their comment still exists, linked to your post.

But shouldn't it be that if you block them, their comment is disassociated with your post? So their comment remains, just not linked to your post.

I think that would help a lot of folk out, so they can control what content their posts promote.

In movies like The Running Man, the public just needs a game show contestant to overcome the odds, then to be shown a short clip that supposedly shows the TV network's lies, then everyone is up for revolution.

I wonder how the we-must-vote-for-Labour-to-get-the-Tories-out lot feel about that.
