    Me ha llegado hoy una estilográfica nueva, de estas de 4€ de AliExpress. Oscura, metálica y texturizada. El plumín es muy fino o la tinta que le he puesto (una verde clarita de Diamine) es demasiado poco "jugosa", porque me resulta muy áspera al tacto, quizá la más áspera de todas.

    Ahora mismo la verdad es que me da pereza limpiarla recién cargada 😅 Tengo que pensar qué hago. Lo mismo aprovecho el trance y cambio la tinta, porque la verde que le he puesto no me convence lo más mínimo.

    Ayer me llegó una aspiradora roboto de esas.

    Estoy convencidísimo de que es el electrodoméstico supuestamente inteligente más TONTO que he tenido nunca.

    Estoy descojonándome yo solo porque es super cabezona. Que se atasca en un sitio, la empujas para sacarla de ahí Y VUELVE AL MISMO SITIO A ATASCARSE.

    @fmolinero Quién tuviera 100m2 libres. 😅

    Ayer cuando mapeó la casa por primera vez lo que hizo fue una pasada por los bordes primero (ahí sí, topando con los rodapies mucho) y luego ya un zig zag por el centro. Pero fue super curioso cómo iba rodeando sin tocar cosas como jarrones o las patas de la mesa del salón.

    Esta, eso sí, tiene unos cuantos sensores ópticos que supongo que le ayudarán a esto. No es de las que van "al toque".

    A good fleet of a few hundred 200km/h night train carriages that can run on any normal speed standard gauge line and be hauled by different locomotives depending where you run is good enough and can be built right away

    @jon You’re actually describing Renfe 106 Series except for the voltage (25kV AC and 1,5 and 3kV DC IIRC).

    We also have Series 730, which can run at 180 on diesel and up to 250km/h under 25kV AC, on at least UIC and Iberian gauges.

    @jon I’m not worried about France at this moment since Renfe has some trains able to be driven over there. I’m actually more curious about the situation in Portugal regarding the signaling system, in order to have Madrid-Lisbon service. The diversity for current Madrid-Lisbon line is in both power and signalling, not gauge.

    Still rocking Go Mono. I like how weird it is for a monospaced font while still being really readable. I think I've also decided that coding ligatures are just not for me. They look cool, but I just don't see them as a win for readability.

    I mean, I can think of several reasons, but too bad I'll do it anyway.

    Knowing the leanings of the folks on this particular platform this is likely to spark some debate, but note that I'm not trying to paint YouTube as a saint - in fact, the first thing I want to talk about is a strategy they've taken which puts me and all YT creators in a weird place:

    @TechConnectify I would think about subscribing to a cheaper tier without YouTube Music. But I don’t want YouTube Music.

    Edit. I just learned that YouTube Premium Lite existed -and it's being phased out.
