US State Department official resigns, says US report on #Gaza inaccurate
A U.S. State Department official who quit this week said on Thursday her resignation was precipitated by an administration report to #Congress that she said falsely stated #Israel was not blocking #humanitarian aid to Gaza, prompting her to resign in protest of President Joe #Biden's Israel policy.
Stacy Gilbert, who served in the State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration, was a subject matter expert working on the report.
"There is so clearly a right and wrong, and what is in that report is wrong," Gilbert said in an interview.

It is like clock work, always the same lies: The Israeli military suspects that munitions or some other combustible substance caused a secondary explosion and subsequent fire at a complex housing displaced Gazans in Rafah, following an airstrike aimed at two top Hamas assets.
The incident resulted in the deaths of Palestinian civilians, and an investigation is ongoing.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had been tracking Hamas commanders Yassin Rabia and Khaled Najjar prior to the strike on the compound in the Tel Sultan neighborhood in western Rafah on Sunday night. According to #IDF intelligence, the area had been utilized for Hamas activities, including a nearby rocket launcher.
The military clarified that the strike occurred outside the designated “humanitarian zone” in the al-Mawasi region, which is over a kilometer away from the targeted compound. Steps were taken to ensure no civilians, particularly women and children, were present in the Hamas compound at the time of the attack.
Israeli fighter jets employed two small munitions, each carrying a 17-kilogram warhead, to minimize the risk of civilian casualties due to the proximity to the camp for displaced Palestinians.
Initial investigations by the IDF indicate that the two small missiles alone would not have been sufficient to ignite the fire. Working in a kibbutz that was ravaged by Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack, #Otmazgin — a volunteer commander with #ZAKA, an Israeli search and rescue organization — saw the body of a teenager, shot dead and separated from her family in a different room. Her pants had been pulled down below her waist. He thought that was evidence of sexual violence.

Die #KI ist auf jeden Fall künstlich aber nicht intelligent, wie die sich u.a. auf #Reddit sich austoben. Ich hoffe es werden deswegen nicht zu viele Menschen getäuscht, denn das geht schneller als viele es wahrhaben wollen und z.B. der #Propaganda glauben.
Abgesehen davon, dass ich TikTok nicht mag weil ich deren Zweck nicht einsehe, nutzen es sehr viele und vor allem sehr junge Menschen und dies auch kommerziell. Wie eben YouTube & Co. und eigentlich nicht viel anders aber auch als politische Propaganda eine Konkurenz zusätzlich.
