There seems to be exactly one iOS development job available at any time and every recruiter in the entire country jumps on it. This week it’s one in Cupertino, a 2+ hour commute for me, which I don’t want. I’m still available, so if anyone knows of a Mac or IOS role less than an hour from San Francisco, let me know.

    Facebook is claiming our video show and tell where people share art, electronics, modified wheelchairs, and other projects, is hate speech now. There was no option to have it reviewed only to "agree" so no one sees it.

    I’m old enough to remember when Instagram scammers would build rapport via DM for over a week before casually bringing up cryptocurrency. Just had one posing as a jet setting, science fiction loving fashion designer. “She” only waited 3 days before tipping her hand. Gave her a climate emergency guilt lecture and blocked/ reported.

    90% of my interactions on Instagram these days are blocking and restricting the various under-clothed spam accounts following me and commenting on my posts.

    And when I just reported an account for impersonation, I only got a “nah, we don’t have time to look at this” reply.

    Did all the Twitter spammers jump ship?

    @MonaApp I really wish the app icon could be changed to something else instead of just changing the color. I love the app but I hate the icon. I’d rather have something that resembles a mastodon.
