Gave Vivaldi another go, for reasons*. Uninstalled < 10 minutes later. Way too much settings, that ultimately don’t allow you to set the things you want. Good luck trying to disable/remove the start page, or paste the exact hex number for your theme and see it applied differently.
*I want some features from Arc (split, pip, command menu), with the minimal ui of Safari. That’s it.
@ovan
We're sorry for the experience you had trying out Vivaldi.
We try to pick good defaults, but since needs and tastes vary, we provide (a lot of) settings for you to customize the browser according to your preferences. Admittedly, it may be a little overwhelming at the beginning, but once you've set things up, the browser will be perfectly tailored to you.
What would you like to see when opening a new tab instead of the Start Page?
I also tested pasting hex values to Theme settings and it worked as expected. Could you describe the issue you encountered?
Dear NoReply. Thanks for the reminder to delete my photos & account. I’m not ok with an opt-out clause to use my uploads that were done before you changed the rules. #AI#training#eyeEm
@MonaApp That was my initial thought, but all posts from that user are invisible. The user is not muted, and none of the muted keywords match the user's posts. User is also not on a list that is removed from timeline.
This beauty finally arrived, Ploopy Adept #trackball.
Last year I tested the water with a Ploopy Nano, a fantastic little trackball that easily sat between my split keyboard. The only issue for me was not so much the lack of buttons, but the inability to map keyboard keys together with trackball movement. With a trackpad you can hold ⌘ and swipe to zoom in Figma.
@ovan@notimefortv yeah I’ve decided to use Scribbles for my blog. It’s exactly what I was after after doing the rounds of other services, but I think it depends a lot on what you want. The pros for me may be negatives to others. I wanted limited / no theming options so I don’t mess around with the look and not just write. The editor works fantastically on the iPhone, which is where I end up writing the most.
