Reddit gets access to OpenAI’s tech for building AI features, and OpenAI gets real-time access to Reddit posts that feed into ChatGPT. #OpenAI has also signed up to become an advertising partner on #Reddit.

It’s an agreement similar to the one Reddit signed with #Google earlier this year that was reportedly worth $60 million.

Wife developed #gastroparesis really bad & saw many specialists over the past several years & it just got worse. So bad that they were talking about options like a stimulator or a drain tube, which would be ironic because I have a feeding tube. We joked, "I would have one for input, she would have one for output."

A new #nurse practitioner determined it was her #Trulicity causing it, took her off of it &added mealtime insulin

Gastroparesis mostly gone; glucose numbers much better than ever now

Noticed the #mortgage payment wasn't coming out of my bank account. We mailed it April 26th. Mortgage company got it today, May 14, said it was postmarked April 30, waived late fee.

#PostOffice said it went from here & got shipped to another postal center & processed then sent to another center & finally back to the local post office

Our mortgage payment was late because the #USPS is screwed up

I love how people are making this a Mastodon demon, and maybe there should be a Mastodon fix, but complaining about Mastodon because your public publishing platform can't handle up to 25K page hits randomized in a short minute or so, seems more on you & not the system getting the content

If these were deliberate users coming to view/read their link, it would be fixed by the complainers in an hour or so permanently

1/ So far, in the last 5 hours I've had a tornado a quarter mile south of my house &just now one a quarter mile north of us

Looking out the windows, it looks like nothing is wrong from the winds, etc, except my 3-year-old blackberry bushes have been yanked up by the roots & are in the middle of our driveway

I there has to be one I hope, just for spite, a tornado or storm, sucks up my old broken-down garbage can that got stolen last week and drops it back in the yard😂

645 days after setting up my own Mastodon instance, I finally tackled tuning my Postgres database config last wk & today setup multiple Sidekiq Processes after my queue got to 10K for the second time this wk

I read the guides multiple times over those 645 days but it never clicked in my head. I was afraid to mess with Sidekiq because I didn't want to brick my instance.

Then today, during the thunderstorm, the old grey cells clicked in and I understood.

Queue cleared up quickly

Weird #plumbing issue. In warm weather, our toilet and drains sound hollow, gurgles, etc, when flushing or draining, like when the tub is drained. In the cold months, it is fine. Last year we had the system snaked 100%. No clogs–been an issue since we bought house in 2019.

I am thinking the warm weather, wind, etc is causing negative air pressure through the main roof plumbing vent

What does the #Fediverse think? Any solutions?

What's the proper URL for searching through Mastodon if you were doing a search via a URL?

For example, searching 'SearchContent has: media" Google would be https://www.google.com/search?q=searchcontent+has%3A+media"

I would like to add my Mastodon instance to my browsers search engines list. Interestingly, Miskey and Sharkey and some other federated platforms I've been to are already added.

I'm getting great results for content from my Mastodon search than Google and Bing, + no ads, and tracking.
