Favorite: hash brown bowl with sausage, egg and cheese from Waffle House at ~1,000 calories.
Usual: coffee with sweetened creamer and a pair of granola bars, 260 calories

I have a few minor favorites, but my absolute favorite dessert involving ice cream is as follows:
Line the bottom of a soup bowl with 10 Nabisco® mini vanilla wafers, add 1/2 pint Häagen-Dazs® coffee ice cream, cover with 10 more mini vanilla wafers, then pour a mixture of one tablespoon of Hershey's® chocolate syrup combined with two tablespoons of Bailey's® Irish cream over the top of the whole thing. You can do anything you want after that, but I usually eat it.

What is something you loved as a kid, that you still love just as much as an adult, and why?

Peanut butter toast. I loved it as a kid; as a septuagenarian, I still love it and eat it about once a week. Pretty simple recipe, toasted bread, butter(!) and peanut butter, but, thanks to the advent of toaster ovens and spreadable butter, better than ever.

My story is similar, though not as profound. My habitual mistake was to interview well above my actual abilites, get hired, and soon begin the inexorable transition from "brilliant" to "mediocre" in the eyes of my peers and supervisors. I definitely had the anxiety, depression, and lack of self esteem of which you speak.
