I’ve tried a lot of social media - Mastodon, BlueSky, Tumblr, TikTok, Goodreads, and more. What I get most out of it feedback from readers. Although rare, good feedback encourages me to write more. I also learn from other writers about book covers, genres, and marketing.

@campuscodi I don’t mind the ads, it’s the privacy tracking within the ad networks I don’t like. Calling them “Ad Blockers” misrepresents why many people use them - to take control of their data.

So, show me the ads, just stop scraping data off everything I see and do on the internet. (Edited for spelling error)

@bookstodon @The_BookishWolf I think it depends on whose story is being told, the person’s or the wolf’s. Does this character view themself as a wolf who can become human at the expense of its sight or a human who must become an animal to see. Either could be used as a powerful metaphor, deepening the characters. Good luck!
