@rasterweb no I get it, and thanks for your responses and all of your thoughts. It might come down to effort. If producing the “art” takes almost no effort, AND you’re exclusively using unoriginal source material, that’s where signing your name to it gets really questionable for me.

@rasterweb @3dprinting wow Pete, I’ve been 3D printing a long time but I’ve never printed finished things this thin before. The fit on my tabs were pretty great, only a few needed a swipe with a round file. Seems legit, I think I’m going to do some printing this week. Thanks! I bought a large-format scanner, and the bundled software — which is called, no joking, MAC ACTION — has debugging left enabled in the most legendary way…

…it does a wall which writes debugging to any open Terminal window.

As @stevenf noted, “That is either an extremely novice programmer, or an extremely veteran one”

Synth Meetup was a lot of fun! Folks brought their Eurorack, vintage, odd, and hand-built synthesizers and were super into talking about their rigs and learning about what other people were playing. Great vibe, will definitely be back!

Edit: 2nd Thursday of every month, 7-9 pm, Idea Fab Labs at the old Wrigley Building.

@polykit I have a couple hundred videos up on a peertube instance, and I was subscribed to the admin’s patreon, but the admin seems unavailable, and I can’t log in anymore because of a problem with 2FA. I post mostly eurorack videos. It would be nice to have a place to post new stuff, but I have to admit the idea of fracturing videos across different instances feels counterintuitive. Thanks for boosting @rasterweb…. we gotta figure out a game plan for this.
