Picked up the Gamesir Nova Lite controller, excuse the stupid bedroom pic, but it’s cheap and really good. 2.4g, plug and play on Stean Deck. Perfect for when docked.

@thelinuxcast Is it possibly a memory issue? Sounds like Proxmox could be running into an OOM state and killing the VM.

Perhaps add some alt-text to the images in the future for accessibility? 🙂 Something such as: A review on Steam by a user with 10,096.3 hrs in-game stating "It's ok i guess".

@shollyethan This real good, I'll be recommending this to newcomers due to the pleasant layout and the "Alternatives" feature.

Is there anyway that it could show the license or filter for only software with repos? I prefer to run open source software, however it's not a big problem, as I can easily skim for that information.

@cliffwade @joel It's my understanding that you need the Proton Mail Bridge in order to support SMTP or IMAP for clients. It is open-source, however Android support is out of scope for it, so one has to use Protons' mail app.

I'm a little stuck in my RPG game, it all works-ish but I'm not happy with the quality of the code

Currently I'm back at the course for the MMO that I was doing a year ago or so but now with more knowledge and understanding

So, instead of an offline RPG, I may be going with a MMO on a dedicated server. Game free via Steam and website ofc but multiplayer

A good 'inventory' basis is so very important and my other games don't have that

2 player screen with first peson and third person view, and a basic inventory / crafting widget

Not super high quality, all the zombies are the same, same sounds and simple AI but...

....at least there's more zombies in even 1 building in my game then there are in total in The Day Before :flan_laugh: 🧟

Fun fact!

There is not a single bullet fired here! It's just a line trace with some effects on the origin and impact point so it looks like there's something fired :blobcatgiggle:

This saves a load of perf over time with many "bullets"

Side project in Unreal Engine, a third persoon shooter like GTA or whatever

@stux Good work, that line trace bullet is typically called hitscan, at least I remember it being called that back when I did research into Halo. The other type is usually called projectile.

The https://sharkey.world server is almost done. We now need branding (new theme and images). @vsp will be creating images like he did for :mw: (and others).

While it grows we will also do some tuning and tweaking.

I like the interface, so much even that I installed it on my personal server too (ruud.social)

If you want to try it, just create an account and play around with it.

And if you really like it, you can migrate so you keep your followers.
