Aus Zagreb wie­der raus­zu­fah­ren war bedeu­tend ein­fa­cher und ent­spann­ter als der Weg in die Stadt im gest­ri­gen Stoss­ver­kehr. Zuerst durch das Laby­rinth der Wohn­vier­tel, dann etwas, das mit sei­nen Glas­häu­sern und diver­sen Gewer­be­bau­ten an Sim­me­ring erin­nert und dann auf einem vor­bild­li­chen Rad­weg ins Umland. 35-42mm in 700c mit Cantis. So schwer war das doch nicht? Aber leider nichts in der Richtung. Schade, schade, schade.

Got a fawn on my lawn, Fedi. Not responsive. Breathing is sporadic but seems strong when it's here. Any advice?

(don't comment unless you know what to do. If you google this for me, you'll catch a block.)

Update: gonna leave it alone and see if its mum comes back at dusk.

Update update: yes, this is what the local wildlife rescue people say to do. Seems the mums stay away from the little ones a lot because the mums smell tasty and don't want their kids around the tastysmell. The fawn's superpower is not smelling like much. The mum deer just leave them in a place that seems safeish, which, like, fine, I guess I'll take as a compliment.

"Just use Linux" is much like "just ride a bike" or "just shop at a refill store" - accessing the non default option can be time consuming, expensive or unavailable locally. We need to recognise you need a certain degree of privilege to have the capacity to complicate your life voluntarily. We need to be trying to make the better, harder thing more accessible, not blaming people for not using it.

in this case a linux computer isn't more expensive; it may actually be cheaper. the barrier is real, but it's more about the knowledge resources and one's confidence in using them than in the price.

Dabei kommt zu kurz, welche Rolle sie als Aktivistin spielte und spielt. Sie wird verkleinert – wie mir vorkommt, mit Absicht.

@c_ozwei @heinz Meine vorletzte Versammlung war die mit dem Putsch derJungen Grünen gegen Eva Glawischnig, das war wohl 2017. Die letzte war die danach, als man versuchte, wieder zur "Normalität" überzugehen. Aber diese kam am ende einer lange Reihe von Versammlungen, bei denen ich mich von einem Mal zum nächsten nie ausgekannt habe, wer gerade "in" und "out" sein sollte oder warum.

@c_ozwei @heinz Ich war quasi Zaungast von 10 Jahren Streit und Intrigen. Diskussionen stören mich nicht. Was mich stört ist die Unkultur, die ich in der Art erlebt habe, wie Leute hinter vorgehaltener Hand übereinander reden und die vereinsmeierischen Manöver, mit denen sie gegeneinander agiert haben. Vielleicht bin ich eine zu zarte Pflanze für Parteipolitik. Aber ich bin nur dort zu Hause, wo der Umgang miteinander besser ist.
