There is still something weird about Threads. The most insipid accounts get thousands of followers, and the most vapid posts get as much traction as they did on Twitter. I can’t get any traction there at all. The most pedestrian stuff I post here, Sky, or even on Twitter can get at least a respectable response. On Threads, almost nothing. Nada. Zip.
For me there are a few people who are usually equalizing, and I can just be around them, so I won't count that. But generally, I find about 3 times a week, I'm game for socializing. A day in between to rest is usually nice, but the larger the gathering or if we go somewhere particularly noisy or I'm meeting new people that involves more effort, and my social battery empties sooner. I'm very curious where everyone else falls on this!
@RickiTarr Living with my husband is socializing. I see neighbors, and actually volunteer with people, but mostly keep to myself. Dunno, just my normal.

OMG if you use a hashtag that is used by marginalized people for their community conversations and they ask you to consider not using it because you yourself are not a member of that community, say thank you and consider editing your post, don't double down
