Designs I created in 2022 and produced as both holographic stickers and buttons. I sold them at Anthrocon that summer, but have never listed them anywhere online - I'll be looking to change that by January!
I don't see this as a tale that damns bisexuality. It feels more timeless, a story unconcerned with identity that peers in on what it's like to be a human that loves.
I recognize not everyone who is bisexual is in a place in life to identify as bi, but know there are others like you out there. You are not alone :bi_heart:
I’m bi and only started being open about it earlier this year. It has been a wonderful year 🙂
Bisexuals don't have to be "50-50". (Imagine a guy who's 80-20. Sure, 4 out of 5 people he likes are femme, but 1 in 5 is masc! You wouldn't call that "straight", would you?)
Bisexuals are still #bi even if we're in a monogamous relationship.
And we're still #bisexual if we're alone. Straight people don't become "non-straight" when they're single!
Until #Pride in Aug I primarily ID'ed as #pansexual. That changed somewhere between reading Julia Shaw's "Bi - The Hidden Culture and Science of #Bisexuality" and explaining to some bigots in a weird interview that #bisexual means both homo and hetero, i.e. is non-binary, and no, there's not too many genders.
Since gender & its expression is so deeply personal, I no longer feel like differentiating between attraction to personality vs gender makes sense for me
I guess I'm #bi 🤷
& #punsexual

This is it! Sex Ed for Bi Guys has officially moved to a new instance, queer.cool. Unfortunately, my previous instance had serious performance issues. queer.cool is still tiny, but check it out if you're interested in a new general queer instance! #queer#bisexual#bisexuality
Given how many iterations of this set of sloths there's likely to be, I figured I'd group 'em up when posting, rather than just bombarding you all with dozens upon dozens of sloths!
And by (actual) popular request, here's the Bi Flag Sloths!!
I was really worried the uneven stripes would be harder to draw than the even stripes I've been doing so far, but it actually turned out to be a lot simpler than I was worried about!
So happy to say that I got my own copy of Julia Shaw's "Bi - the hidden culture, history, and science of bisexuality" :heart_bisexual: :lily_bisexual: This book is really fantastic and makes me feel so happy and proud to be Bisexual. Wishing all my queer friends a wonderful day :heart_gay: #Queer#bisexual#bisexuality#QueerBooks#Lgbt#books
I haven't been able to connect with the queer community in the place where I live. I once contacted a local club. They said that they were trying to set up a group for #bisexual people, but I never heard back from them. (Didn't ask again, but it's on my list. For 2024 🙃)
It would be nice to have a group of like-minded people who meet up monthly or so. As a parent of a small child, I am short on time, so maybe online is even better than in person.
I'm not sure, though, what like-minded people would be: Bisexuals? Queer men? Queer parents? People who consider identifying as non-binary? Maybe the non-binary stuff (and the parenting) are most important to me right now because gender binarism is so pervasive and overwhelming with small children.
I don't have the energy to set up anything. (I barely have the energy to take care of the essentials.) So I have to rely on what someone else has or will set up. Is there anything you can think of? #German groups preferred (it would feel a bit local, even if it's not).
This was a long post. Here is a shorter version. Please boost if you think you can help.
Unable to find any local options, I'd be interested in joining a queer online meet-up, preferably #German-language. Topics I care about include #bisexuality, queer parenting, non-binarity/nonconforming masculinity etc.
I'm kinda shy, so even if you suggest something, I might not join 🙈 But I'd love to know if there are any options at all.
