Happy #Caturday everyone.
Meggie & Laurie are packing their little bag today, ready for a night (& 2 days) holidaying at the cattery, while the carpets are being changed. Laurie could probably cope with the disruption, but it would be too much for poor Meggie. She likes a peaceful life.
Favourite toys are ready, food is organised, carrying box is assembled....
Our baby girl sends you greetings! She's doing well so far. She is already lapping up formula and wet food. No need to bottle-feed anymore. She runs and plays with tiny kitten toys. Hopefully, the medication the vet gave will clear up her eye problems. No name yet. Our granddaughter is trying to help us decide.
News everyone! A bundle of joy was dropped into our lives today. This tiny kitty was cold and shivering on our neighbor's doorstep this morning. The neighbor said it had been there since last night, no mama in sight, and they didn't know what to do with it. The neighbor asked if we could take it. So, here we are with our 5th cat. It's being bottle-fed. Vet visit is scheduled for tomorrow a.m.
Bud-Bud the Happy Lap Spud. There's no place he'd rather be.
Bud was the shy one of a bonded pair. The shelter worried about keeping them together. I worried no one else would understand Bud. So I took them both.
I was right. Even I sometimes had trouble understanding him. But he has a good heart. I knew that would pull both of us through his teen cat years.
