I got my Spotify wrapped recently and it was almost identical to 2022 (a year of lazy listening) and completely lacking some of my most favourite genres.

Another weekend, another story of #sexism... sometimes its hard to believe this is 2024.
Now, in a sector that saw 'blind auditions' (with players behind curtains) do much to reduce sexism in #orchestras hiring practice, it seems that #female pianists are still facing discrimination(s) across the world of #classicalmusic.
So, despite seeming like a more 'civilised' area of the #musicindustry, what we still see are unacceptable discrimination & #sexualharrasment.

Chances are high you know Samuel Barber's beautiful classical piece Adagio for Strings. It has been used in several films, including Platoon.
