"Point-Line-Plane' is #genuary22 which I interpreted as "Kandinsky'. Decided to plot them so I'm counting them as #genuary23 too (128 x 128 (mm) -which is what it showed on my phone and 12 X 12 (cm) - which my laptop showed).
#genuary Day 21: A library you haven't used before
Since I have my own quixotic tech stack, "using" libraries means porting or borrowing ideas. Here I am combining Kaplan's extended star drawing (deep cut from day 17) with some ideas from rough.js to make "hand"-sketched sparkling stars
This system serendipitously works for today’s prompt, too (“use a library that you haven’t used before”) - it’s my first time using the {Rcpp} package, which integrates R with C++.
I don't have much to say about this one. I was going to skip this prompt but I got stymied with what I wanted to do for flocking and shifted over to this instead. So it goes! Still a fun way to spend a Friday night.
Instead of an animation of 'birds' flying in flocking patterns, I'm going for another use of the word "flocking". I'm starting with the process of producing fake textile with 'flocking', which involves adding small particles to a surface to mimic velvet or other fine textiles.
For this challenge, I'm going to figure out how to use an SVG font as the base for drawing particles onto. From a creative point, I'm not super interested in this one. But I do like the idea of figuring out how to use any SVG element as data to play with.
