Peter Stefanovic, an "reporter" working for Rupert Murdoch’s #Skynews, eventually issued an apology only after enduring considerable social pressure over an extended period of time.
" ... [T]he Home Office told Ashkar that it had been denied on the grounds that granting it would 'harm the public interest', without giving any further reasons or explanation."
Why oh why am I watching yet another rant of complete lies by an #israeli spokesperson on #skynews AGAIN! These people seem to have unlimited access to the #media for the outpouring of their dishonesty while the #BritishGov and #whitehouse abuse people who are calling for a #ceasefire
If you're like me you'll want to watch this a thousand times, and then a thousand more!
Dr. Myriam François deserves our gratitude for keeping her cool and not letting herself be shut down, and shame on whoever that host is for arguing with her and on Bill Browder for staying quiet when he should have vigorously taken her side. I guess he's the kind of activist who only despises Russian genocidal regimes.
I wish Sky News presenters would stop fucking apologising for the bad fucking language in the fucking Covid Inquiry. While they ramble on with their fucking apologies, we can’t fucking hear the fucking questions or witnesses’ fucking answers! 😡
Peter Dutton, one of the chief architects of the #VoicetoParliament No Campaign on TV says the #referendum has been divisive and distracting. No Shit Sherlock.😳 #auspol#yes23 He would know and the #ABC (a.k.a. #SkyNews “lite”) is giving him plenty of time to tell more lies and spread misinformation.
Good grief. In the light of #LaurenceFox's comments on #GBNews, #Sky#News decided to do a piece on the #GenderPayGap. They had a man and woman on to argue about it.
It came out, live on air, that he was being paid and she wasn't. Sky apologised and offered her £75, the standard fee for such an appearance. Then they offered to increase it to £200, the same as they'd paid him.
For all this #GBNews saga, #Ofcom should take quite a bit of the blame for it.
They sat back for 2 1/2 years, and allowed them - either they were scared of the audience they were cultivating, they agreed with it, or I believe most likely, because the government 'advised' them to - to do whatever they wanted.
Attack over-and-over their chosen 'enemies within'.
Right back on night one, they saw what #DanWootton put out on his show - and came out and said they saw nothing odd.
I saw some of the #Ofcom chief executive's interview with Sophy #Ridge on #SkyNews tonight, and it seems she's saying that there's nothing that suggests what #LaurenceFox and #DanWootton did is endemic with #GBNews or that they aren't acting with 'due impartiality' under 'freedom of expression'.
Forget about her 'blindness', but imagine the Left actually set-up a real left-wing news channel, doing agitprop the opposite to GBN does.
No way would they say the same. It would be shut down in days.
Kay Burley & Co. are quite pleased about Brian May's involvement with the team bringing a cup or so of asteroid material here, as if we need more asteroid rubble around the place. In this case, it's pristine, might come from the beginning of the solar system, and was great fun to go get. #SkyNews
Kay Burley just grilled the Housing Minister in a heartwarming, for-the-whole-family segment covering sleeping rough, weak commitments to alleviating housing crises & a possible cut in inheritance tax primarily benefiting people in the Prime Minister's tax bracket. Kay is skillful with paring knives. There were many thin slices. Controversies aside, this is how American politicians really ought to be interviewed. #SkyNews
