All Emoji-pickers are cursed, but there's a special place in hell for those that make you scroll through a bunch of premium emojis to get to the "free" ones
TIL that any #unicode#character is a valid #Wifi#SSID as long as your keep under 32 bytes. And yes, this includes exotic control characters. And I now have ssids that is just random #emojis. I challenge everyone to build an wifi fuzzer that finds an at most 32 bytes unicode ssid that can crash a device remotly when it tries to scan afters stations.
It seems there is one last issue with my #Mastodon#instance that we can't figure out - some #emojis (it seems just custom emojis) are just not loading for me. Any ideas how we can fix this? 🆘
At this rate fedi frontends need to invent custom emoji combinators so I don't have to create an exponential number of neofoxxo variants :neofox_sweat:

It's a cute and friendly emoji that can be used to represent hard work and determination, or metaphorically to evoke qualities of beavers. According to emojipedia it can also be used to represent the expression "beavering away", an expression I've never heard in my 6+ decades on this planet...
Having fedi-hopped late last night to infosec.exchange #InfosecExchange [again, 🤭], i was keen to see which of my fav #FOSS#emojis are available here in the toot-composer emoji-picker.
Dear @jerry i know you've been extremely busy doing all manner of hardware magic, but might i pls ask if you could add importing the missing [above] emojis, sometime over coming weeks, if your pace becomes less frenetic? All except my newest browser [#Floorp] are available, iirc, in the tech.lgbt & aus.social Instances, & i read somewhere recently that apparently importing emojis that already exist on other servers is "doable" [?]. Thanks 🤞

After @jerry so kindly added all "my" emojis, & pointed out that the correct one for Vivaldi Snapshot is actually vivaldi_gray not my assumed vivaldi_grey, i've now retrospectively fixed it in my OP, above, coz i can't bear looking at all my beautiful emojis all shiny & wonderful, but for that [originally] broken one. 🤪

Rather than users needing to petition individual Instance Admins & Mods for this, would it be possible pls for you to add these into the default Masto s/w config, so that it automatically becomes available fediverse-wide? 🤷♀️
