This pic was taken two steps inside my front gate and it might be my best night pic ever. Mind you, it was just me and the iPhone camera getting lucky. I think the nice green colours come from the cheap solar lights I bought a few years back. They are aimed low (to light my way) but must leak enough light to produce those colours. (I never use the flash.)
but I have to call attention to one track in particular which is very different
Excerpts from Kennedy's famous "not because they are easy but because they are hard" #moonshot speech and mission control chatter are beautifully and perfectly incorporated into the #music in the first few minutes. Don't worry, the metal is definitely coming back (and I love the bass lines)
Climate change is an immediate threat to the majority of the world's population.
We need a local, regional, state, national, and international "moon shot" type of concentration of effort using available resources while developing and advancing new science and technologies to counteract the damage humans have caused.
Without this type of all-out, universal cooperation, human civilization, and perhaps humanity itself, are in imminent danger of extinction.
Everything, Everywhere, All at Once is the most sound #global#philosophy and #strategy to potentially mitigate, and possibly reverse, the extreme damage we've done to our #climate and #environment.
My son told me he had an alarm set for 4:30am so he could go out and photograph the moon. Whilst on a dog walk the evening prior, I saw it was up already.
Had not realised my son was planning on using my old Nikon camera, so went with him, a tripod and an almost empty battery.
I don’t think we did too bad given I haven’t touched a DSLR in probably four years and he was hoping to point and shoot.
I just played around with my new vintage lens that's over 50 years old, and I'm surprised at how sharp it is, even when connected to a teleconverter.
