I didn't bother chasing the full moon these last two nights, it's been off and on clouds, and I've done this over and over in every shade and phase of the moon, My camera is almost worn out. So, I'm sharing the last quarter shot from another night
@mikako6 I bought a new camera the year Covid started. I was out every morning an hour before sunrise, I took photos of the moon every time I saw it, and got some pretty good ones. My camera is dying and I can't afford another anymore. <sniff> but I have a huge collection of every Harvest Moon, Blue Moon, and every phase #Moon#Video#MoonShadow#Moonset#BloodMoon
@mikako6 And for the dawn setting of the full moon, here's another setting, I practiced these a few times to get something share-worthy #FullMoon#Moonset#Moon
So got up early to watch the big match this morning (Arsenal 5 Sheffield 0) and at the end of the match the full moon was setting behind the hills of Dunedin Harbour.... A perfect way to go back to bed! #moonset#beauty#NewZealand
How do you capture your videos?
My camera records .MOV format, that must be converted to .MP4, often too big to share.
I don't get the same focus on videos, as my camera tries to refocus each time it moves.
I found (for me) what works best, is to shoot still photos and stitch them back into video. Takes awhile without a computer. #Moon#FullMoon#MoonSet#Video
#Moonset this morning, photographed at 4.30am by my husband.
Not an image that we'll be printing up as it was too windy to capture the scene to a high standard. The fishing boat adds a little interest to the scene. The joys of #landscapephotography when a ridiculously early start to the day, a 40 mile round trip and only half the weather conditions play ball! As this view only occurs a couple of times a year it has to be done!
I just played around with my new vintage lens that's over 50 years old, and I'm surprised at how sharp it is, even when connected to a teleconverter.
