A look at a recompilation tool for N64 games to allow native PC ports without the crazy amount of manual work needed to decompile them first. Very impressive stuff here. Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is the first release to get the recompilation treatment with even a native Linux port that works on the Steam Deck.
I dedicate this model to those who love Zelda TotK and have access to a multi-material 3D printer... That might indeed appeal to a rather niche audience 😅
I designed it using Open Source software only: GIMP for cleaning bitmap images, Inkscape for converting them into vector graphics, OpenSCAD for assembling them as 3D volumes, and OrcaSlicer for sending the result to the 3D printer.

The Zelda games on the Game Boy and Colour are unique within the Zelda series as a whole. Strange plots, enemies, music, mystery and even gameplay plague the three games. Hell, in Link's Awakening half the enemies are straight up from Super Mario Bros. And the oracle games come with novels and feature interconnected password...

And before you accuse me of being overly negative: I also played the demo for an "Overwhelmingly Positive" game that I liked enough to buy the full version of:
According to their trailer, @Wanderbot described it as: "A really neat fusion of #Zelda and #Metroidvania with #BulletHell". Nothing to add: If you enjoy any of those three, I'm feeling fairly confident you'll also love #MiniShootAdventures! :)
Anyone know any other games similar to the Oracle ones? Already have a few (Anodyne, Lenna's Inception), looking for more.
