@aral Did you ever catch Rachel Parris and Nish Kumar on that show? probably most underrated comedy duo on TV. Nish played her foil/straight man usually without saying a word and I'd laugh just as much at his reactions as her writing/performance.

@aral I’m gay. I’ve never voted for anyone above the local level I didn’t have profound reservations about for my own personal well-being and that of everyone like me, but it didn’t stop me from voting to make sure a GOP nightmare didn’t end up winning.

Listen, if you’re a white person, and you think you’ve had Szechuan food, you probably haven’t.

Most of the Szechuan restaurants in the USA lack a basic component: spiciness.

I say this because a friend from out of town just went to a Szechuan restaurant in Vancouver, thought it was going to be business as usual, and now he’s doubled over because the spice is too much for him.

He tells me, it’s so bad, that he feels the spice eking out of his pores. 🤣
