#Antisemitism has traditionally come from the far right in the United States, but not any more.
A team of researchers has looked at trends, including the correlation between flare-ups in Israeli-Palestinian conflict and increases in antisemitic attacks.
@josephramoney@aby@docslacker White colonizers really be "I am 5% Jewish, and that gives me the right to violently displace indigenous people from lands they have always occupied, including other Palestinian Jews."
Racists always talking about DNA to justify their crimes. It's hilarious.
@gamingonlinux I don't understand how anyone could get Nvidia at all in principle alone, ESPECIALLY on Linux. That's a piece of shit company if I've ever seen one. Lmao
the Sun has moved into the watery emotional realm of Cancer while Venus and Mars get closer in Leo, and soon the Moon will join the planets of Love and Passion in their fiery dance. should be an interesting day for those of us with sensitive antennae 💖
Cancer season Sylvie is a metaphysical babblebox so buckle up y’all
I haven't seen this posted over here yet, but it's a @Cbsnews interview with the maker of that nightmare tube bargain-bin unregulated #submersible that is now two and a half miles at the bottom of the ocean. It was being run with a PS3 controller. 😰
The Press really doesn't understand the Fediverse, nor how decentralized social media works -- at all.
Take this article from the BBC. They call #Meta's P92 a potential "greater rival to Bluesky or Mastodon."
No, P92 is joining the same social network that Mastodon is on -- which is called the Fediverse, tied together by a protocol called ActivityPub.
P92 and Mastodon are just two software currently in use with the Fediverse. Right now, I am using Pleroma, which uses ActivityPub. Other times, I'm using Calckey, Friendica, Pixelfed, etc. -- all which use ActivityPub.
And the rival isn't Bluesky. It's AT protocol, which Bluesky would use for their own version of the Fediverse -- but which hasn't happened yet because they're years behind ActivityPub.
You see, with open protocols, having to start "afresh" and "rebuild a community" will be a thing of the past.
How do y'all deal with wanting someone to complain to about work? But you don't want to offload to your coworkers, that'll just bring them down. But, someone outside of work won't understand what your talking about or who the people are. What do you do?? That's not drugs
