Conf.tube might be invite-only to make sure all sign-ups are used for conference videos. Did you click the 'contact us' button and send them a message?

Whatever works ;) Great you're using PT instead of just chucking it up on ThemTube! Thanks to the wonders of PT federation, conf.tube can if they wish include the FediForum channel, regardless of which instance it's on.
