What I have been trying to figure out is there are any oss chip32 loaders that are viable replacements for the default one.

I don’t use any of the chip32 stuff in my designs so far so I’m afraid I can’t help there…

What exactly does core boot mean in this context? Like the order and timing in which the initial bridge commands arrive?

@mcc correct. Anything that happens after you unpause a core booting process since signal tapping anything before that is a little tricky.

Off that site I have a much improved Cellular Toy that fixes the timing issues, adds Core Settings including custom rules and color schemes, and supports changing resolution when docked. I want to add a low pass filter on the audio (so far: not going great lol) and then I'm gonna declare a 1.0…

@didier when that hits 1.0 I'm gonna try to get it in the big core library, like the one Pocket Sync and stuff use. I've been kinda torn about what to upload there cuz like as of now this is some of the only entirely original software for the Pocket so that seems significant, but on the other hand the Pocket Sync/Updater repo is like, true broadcast and I'm not sure it's suited for small dirty fun projects made in under a week, which some of the ones on my site are.
