This is great. It oddly reminds me of the M.U.L.E. theme song. It doesn't use the same melodies, but the step down is similar and the beat is pretty close.
I'm not even saying it's derivative, it just made me think of a game I grew up loving.
This also happens to be a great sample that I'd like to hear more of. :)
@BigMcLargeHuge if you search YouTube for Aries Beats" you will find a bunch of 'em. And they are fair game for using non commercially.
Some of them are clear knockoffs meant to sound like other things.. There is for example an "in the air" and a "final countdown", but my favorites are the ones which (I think) are originals.
I have 8 or 9 that I have to choose between every time I post some retro meme 😂
@dannotdaniel This was the version for the Commodore 64. I went more the computer that played games route, rather than the gaming console that sometimes did computery things route.
