My KiCad update download has completed. I'm doing a re-install, then back into the saddle to learn it all over from scratch with a small circuit board project.

Summer of Nix is a rare opportunity for students or early-career professionals with diverse technical skills and interests to practice disciplined software development with Nix while contributing to the public good and receiving some payment for it.
As one of the projects that benefited from the #SummerOfNix last year, we can say that packaging a #FOSS project for a distribution you love is an immense public good. It helps the distribution of projects and helps to strengthen that distribution as well.

@slink@XR_Nuernberg_sunny2 Mit der Plastikkarte BC100 darf man seit Beginn des Jahres nicht mehr ÖPNV fahren. Dafür braucht man jetzt auch die App. Die BahnBonus-Vorteile die schon Teil von BahnComfort waren wurden ja immerhin bis zum Ende der Gültigkeit der Plastikkarte auch ohne App weitergewährt, beim ÖPNV sind auch bestehenden Karten bettoffen. Da steht dann auf der Plastikkarte "inkl. Deutschland-Tickt", aber zur Nutzung braucht es die Tracking-App.
I have often wondered why #LibreOffice isn't more popular. Today I tried a very simple design with #Impress. Basically three rounded rectangles with texts of different alignments. Really nothing fancy.
I gave up in frustration after 20 minutes when rendered text alignments would not match the object's settings no matter what I try.
For a relatively new #foss project, I would start writing bug reports. For something as mature as LibreOffice, if such basic features don't work, it's not for me.
