@dgar This is an album cover I made/drew for my rock band. Each section corresponds to a different song but I need to swap out the 7 o clock section with my own art rather than a collage of other people's. Because 5 o clock proves I can
@dgar I am going to use it for cover art. For the 3rd album. The thing is, the name of the third album is the same as an album by the weird 70s experimental band The Residents, but I'm probably on thin ice with the kolektiva admins right now.
But it's a reference to the WW2 Government of Germany plus the words "and Roll"

@dgar I like the tree :-) It does have some style variation to the background, but that gives me a flavor of like a kids sketch book that they later put stickers in, the styles are compatible.
So you could have the car in bolder relief and with the decal, just not a photo
I have learned that fewer than 50% say it’s good to go, but only a few gave a thumbs down. There were several good suggestions and helpful observations in the comments.
And about a quarter of you have donkeys, which is surprising.
The result is a different font used, logo removed, a third m-bird, a sticker outline on the car cutout, redrawn tree, plus some other details added here and there.
Sincerely, thank you all for your insights and contributions on this childish, lazy, attempt at cover art. This will be the only time I do one in this kind of “style”. It is undeniably better for your input. The song is going to be available first on Soundcloud, and distributed to the other streaming sites in a couple of weeks. I’ll post a link on this thread in a couple of hours when it becomes available.
Full release to all the streamy places will be on the 29th March.
In the meantime, I think it sits nicely as track two on my Singles and B-Sides playlist on #Soundcloud, which I keep in the order that I think would work if they were released as an album.

@dgar looks like a scene from the Amazing world of Gumball where they mix up the art styles. I like it! Make the car look like it was torn from a magazine maybe? So the whole thing is like a montage?
@dgar I would say maybe do another revision or two. Font could be a little more thematically appropriate, it's a bit stuffy for the crayon drawing magazine clipping concept. Would also maybe revise the tree, it looks a bit MS Paint compared to everything surrounding it. Maybe do something with a darker outline and a sketchy fill? Hopefully attached pic illustrates what I mean.

I think you need a different typeface. I'd also work on the sticker on the side of the car to make it look more like it's actually on the car. But overall it's pretty good. Definitely sets a vibe

Not sure, that one is a little thin and too typewriter. But probably headed in that direction. You might even go all out and try one of those display ones called things like "pinewood" or "logger" That would probably not be what you're going for, but I am always looking for the chance to use them
