Getting a little bit of FOMO from people playing #bg3... but what's the game like past the character creator? How's the story and characters? Are the skills fun? #videogames#RPGs
Very veeery slowly getting the hang of Baldurs Gate 3. It’s definitely not a fast paced game and you can spend a lot of time doing practically nothing but talking to NPCs and walking around. I’m still not a huge fan of the controls and the combat system micro management, but I’m getting there.
Here’s my character, Nerissa. A Drow Druid. Maybe not the smartest newbie class choice…
She looks fantastic. 👍 The markings and her hair go so well with her freckles and her gear.
This is actually the hair style that I have planned for my next character! 😁
This is my drow wizard.
I've noticed that playing the game in HDR causes the screenshots of the game to be.. hm.. kind of washed out? and I can't figure out how to take screen shots of a game in HDR that look good.
It took all day, but #BG3 is finally downloaded. 💪 Now everything is ready for my partner and I to start our co-op run tomorrow. 😁
For now I'm excited to test out the #Palia closed beta though. 😊 Kind of bummed that there's so little character customisation, but let's see how the gameplay feels. 😅
Have installed the full post-early-access Baldur's Gate 3, and am looking forward to hundreds of hours of game play. Now to spend literal hours just creating the characters.
The real dilemma is how to play both that and Diablo 4.
