I'm soooooooooooo happy & proud that a group of people I love and have done many actions with, Extinction Rebellion Boston is in solidarity with Palestinian liberation.
"May this book inspire us all to find and nurture the roses and light among those who struggle for survival and freedom in Gaza, in all of Palestine, and in every corner of the world where injustice still haunts the wretched of this earth."
I find it very odd that there has been so much Look At All The Good Things Biden Did articles being passed around right now when he is getting, rightfully, criticized for backing Israel while Palestine is actively being genocided.
Yes, biden and his administration have done some good things. I'm not saying he hasn't. But it's very telling that everyone wants to talk about all the good he's been doing now all of a sudden when he's doing something Very Not Good That We Should All Be Talking About

It's not antisemitic to criticise Israel's terror attacks in Gaza any more than it's islamophobic to criticise Hamas's terrorist acts in Israel, or anti-Christian to criticise European colonialism.
By ejecting a black, disabled, female MPP for quoting the UN on situation in the occupied Palestinian Territories, the NDP has demonstrated that its social justice claims are just empty talk, and it's as neo-liberal as the others.
@david_megginson I read this news article thoroughly and it remains clear that Ontario NDP leader Marit Stiles was failing to work with member Sarah Jama, not the other way around. Somebody got a hot head and full of themselves.
It's also sickening how Israel's 50+ years of occupation is not allowed to be mentioned without talking about that devastating attack by Hamas, to show "both sides". In the news as well.
"When I see Gaza, I am the Palestinians. I do not see myself in the face of an Israeli soldier — why should I? Because we are both Jewish? I see a colonizer, an occupier, a violent settler. I see someone willing to keep their boot on the neck of Palestine until she dies in the street.
Tell me the story again, Zaide. Of David and Goliath, of Palestine and Israel, of a stone vs a tank. Tell me again who you are and tell me the truth this time."
#Meme#MemeAtMeBro dirt ball goes to a pro #Palestine#FreePalestine event & shoots into the crowd with a paintball gun & pull a real gun on protesters when they confront him. We see how that ended. He brought his wife with him. She was not happy
Do NOT stop talking about the situation our dear brothers and sisters in #Palestine are suffering through. It is pure ethnic cleansing being done against the Palestinians.
My friend
I am heartened to see you
marching and standing
in solidarity
against this catastrophe
but please, my friend,
when you join with others
marching and standing
remember that wearing a mask
is also a kind of solidarity.
Opposing Israel is not antisemitic. Supporting the liberation of Palestine is not antisemitic. Don't let brutal settler colonization be the legacy of our people. Free Palestine
The two are one in the same. The Israelian government has been pivotal in keeping Hamas at the head of Palestinian government, for Netanyahu's own agenda. There would be no Hamas occupation without Israelian occupation.
