@republica Fürs #fediverse fehlen da aber zwei wichtige Hinweise: ⚠️ Nur bei Datensammelkonzernen verfügbar ⚠️ Proprietäre Software, leider keine freie Lizenz 😞 Wenn schon App-Store für Android, dann bitte #fdroid oder #IzzyOnDroid ;-)
This is a small bugfix release, fixing some balance and spend/receiving issues (mostly reduced confusion + workaround for some broken Android keyboard apps that don't correctly listen to the list of allowed symbols).
It also contains various translation updates.
The update is available on #GitHub right now and will most likely be available on #IzzyOnDroid within 24 hours. It has also been sent to Google Play Open Testing for review.
How to tell your OSS is ridiculously popular: people aren't 100% sure they didn't embed it, and tack on the software equivalent of "packaged in a facility where peanuts were also present" to the license list.
This watch contains software, so statistically probably contains at least traces of curl.
@evana Oopsie… No offense meant! Wasn't aware you were involved. Still, my "rant" holds its truth unfortunately in far too many places. But I should add that with the current tools it's not always easy to be aware what went it or what dragged in other things (well, one can check the dependency tree in most cases, but does not always remember too). One reason more than one FOSS dev expressed their thanks to the additional checks at the #IzzyOnDroid repo, for example…
1 app was removed: not having received answers to my question from #ProtonMail for 1 year 3 months, them having the issue tracker closed a few months ago, now the entire repo was archived. There's a new repo, but app size increased even more – and still no per-ABI builds.
Thus I had to remove ProtonMail now from #IzzyOnDroid, and its return is rather unlikely. Please complain to them not me should this be an issue for you – and sorry for the sad news.
This release adds support for finding barcodes in PDF files[1] and dealing with multiple barcodes. It also properly colours the status bar during usage now.
As always, it's available on #GitHub, will soon be available on #IzzyOnDroid and will slowly roll out to other app stores.
Heute müssen wir neben Manipulation und Schlamperei über ein weiteres Missgeschick reden, was FOSS passieren kann. Es ist sogar das nächst liegende und passiert häufig. Der vorliegende Fall allerdings sticht aus
I'm very happy to see how far the #IzzyOnDroid repository has come. Especially with all the recent scanner updates it has become so much more than "a secondary repo to get more FOSS app from".
I'd argue at this point it may very well be the most secure and well-maintained repository of #FOSS apps on #Android.
The OSS Document Scanner is an open-source application designed for effective document management. It allows easy scanning using your camera or imported images, automatically detecting and cropping documents within photos. The app also features OCR technology for text identification within documents and supports exporting document as PDFs.

Today's #AndroidAppRain at https://apt.izzysoft.de/fdroid does not bring you any new apps (but 12 updated ones). Instead I had focused on the monthly cleanup action: several apps added fastlane so that was integrated, others stopped updating (no commits for more than a year) and got demoted to monthly checks, again others were archived and got their updates disabled (plus a proper hint added to their description) – and so on. Hope this helps you enjoying the #IzzyOnDroid repo :awesome:
