As part of my #DCEU rewatch, I saw "The Suicide Squad" (2021) for the first time, and truly loved it. It fixed everything done wrong in the 2016 edition, and renewed my love of #JamesGunn.
I realize I may be in a bit of a #comics fan bubble -- but is #Superman 's origin story really that much of a secret / mystery to movie-goers that doing a Supes movie without it (No Krypton! No Smallville!) is considered a "risky move"?
I think that's a fine #DCEU decision by #JamesGunn. Saves 20-40 minutes that can be used to develop today's character.
