Some of the #NatureTrails that I explored around the #forested property yesterday. It smelled so good in the forest. I heard so many different wildlife calls. Forests are my happy places ❤️🌲🌲❤️
Nature is my spiritual temple.
Another round of pics at the Chippewa Nature Center, a trail that my wife and I walked in which I thought looked really nice, and some pics of the cabin that was near the entrance of this section of the nature center. Shot in June, 2023.
At the moment, the #WikiLoc app provides sensible results: actual trails walked by actual people, often with photos and a nice description and properties of the trail and site. Given that it's little more than recorded GPS traces from real people, there's a wide variety of places, including cities, villages, fields, and mountains. On foot, bicycle, and even other forms of transportation.
No affiliation, I just find the app actually useful in its present form. Here is to hoping it won't change.
@Jorsh#QuicksBottom has several natural arched tunnel-like pathways. Nice & shaded parts of the trail - very pleasant to walk. You're guaranteed multiple bird sights & sounds because it is a longtime nature estuary & birding hotspot 😊
There's also a horse farm that borders onto park & you'll usually see 2-3 gorgeous horses out in the fields.
