I really enjoyed chatting with Richard at @sustainoss podcast about three communities that are very important to me: @rOpenSci, @RLadies_global and @thecarpentries
Very grateful for the space and the opportunity to reflect on topics that interest me a lot.
Had my @Cmastication moment yesterday on stage here in Brazil when I told the audience, "I grew up on a dairy farm in Indiana. My grandfather would regularly use a wrench as a hammer", when challenged that my idea to release peer-reviewed manuscript model code-bases as open-source could result in people misusing the tools we share openly and thus should refrain. You can only educate. You can't enforce. More good comes from sharing than harm, IMO. #OpenScience
We cordially invite you to the online seminar "PID for instruments". You can expect an interesting program with informative presentations and the opportunity for an exciting and productive exchange.

Equinox is making it easier for me to choose to which journal I want to submit my next paper: "Equinox does not accept manuscripts that have already been submitted to preprint repositories, such as SSRN. However, an author may deposit their accepted postprint manuscript in their Institutional Repository (only), with due acknowledgement to Equinox Publishing and an embargo period of 24 months." #OpenScience#AcademicChatter#AcademicPublishing
