Today in hilarity has started opening the keyboard for saving replays under the actual game itself. Which means you can't see it. Makes it a bit tricky to actually use. Also seems to block keyboard input which means you can't just "AAA[enter]" to get out of it. Just A+ work.

Title screen that reads ‘round two, fight!’ Then there’s a clip of my scoring a goal in Rocket League as a bully my way through a cluster of cars. Then there’s a slow motion replay that shows two cartoon wrestlers fighting over top of the car pile up. It finishes with kung-fu film credits.

I make videos of clips from my gaming and post them to an instagram account. I’ve been doing it for over a year. For no one. Almost zero followers or interactions. But I LOVE doing it.

I love making clips of moments that I’m proud of. I love editing the videos. I treat them like I have millions of followers. And it’s okay that I don’t. I’m happy simply doing it.

Be your own biggest fan. It’s fun.

Clips of goals that I’ve scored beginning with a title that reads ‘right place, right time.’ Goal one is a long goal that’s side swiped at top speed. Goal two is head on towards a ball a defender accidentally sent into the air in front of their goal. I barrel roll over two defenders on the ground. Goal three I hit the ball off the wall and barrel roll back into stride on the ground before the defender sends the ball in my direction and I beat them to it to send it into the net. Goal four I uturn quickly towards a ball that’s sent down from above and gracefully give it a bump back into the air before following it at top speed and twisting over the defender. Goal five is ricocheted off the corner wall in my path towards the goal and I hit it with the side of my car into the net.

Mans tried to score a goal when my teammate left the goal to get boost. I found a way to get back and make the save.

That made me happy. When I play well it makes me happy. Dopamine for the win.

Fun fact. This game was originally called “Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars.” Can’t say I understand why they changed it.

@massivelyop yeah, not playing anymore after this. Player trading and a natural economy is something that puts a game on another level for me. I loved Rocket League from the day it came out, until the exact moment Epic took it over. After epic took it over, the matchmaking became absolutely terrible. Win 10, lose 5, win 1, lose 10. I slowly and surely got tired of the bipolar type feelings it gave me. The only thing making me come back recently was the fact that I could trade items I didn't want to other players for credits to purchase ones I did want.

Now that they're killing it, they've killed the game for me. Adios rocket league. It sucks that you sold out.

So I've done a few co-op matches in #100OrangeJuice, and I must say I actually prefer the co-op mode over the default pvp one. In fact, I tend to have a preference for team-based multiplayer games like #RocketLeague and #TeamFortress2 over free-for-all ones since they're not every man for themself.

Granted, there's still the risk of getting obliterated by the boss, but eh.
