Afternoon mograph. Happy little space maggots, flipping as they float. Continuing to experiment with using Curve Deform to animate point clouds, and using the curve's twist to add some spice here.
I'm also mixing the animation down, which makes the nature of the movement less apparent, and a little more organic. A while back, I added Mix sliders to most of my nodes, and it's a continually surprising and useful feature. "Do this... but a little less." #Blender3D#B3D#GenerativeArt#3DArt
I was testing import/export of SubD in #b3d again - still a WIP, but it's on the TODO to merge.
As a side effect I discovered that both macOS13.4 and iPadOS16.5 now can properly display SubD in USD. I don't know since what version exactly, but I'm happy for our e-Commerce customers.
