A serene sunrise casts warm golden hues over the rugged coastline of Ogunquit Maine, as waves crash against the rocky shoreline. Above, a pastel sky transitions from golden orange to a soft blue, with a lone cloud glowing near the rising sun.
As my canoe glides silently through the water, I am starting to see the first hints of light from the morning sun, casting its first rays on a new day.

I made this image a decade ago. It shows how it doesn’t take much to make a difference. Someone repurposed a plastic barrel, painted “Help keep the River clean” on the side, and set it at a popular fishing spot on a river leading to Lake Michigan. Yes, it was being used and emptied regularly. A good example of “Think global, act local”. #michigan#BuyIntoArt#pixels
