My neighborhood in a nutshell. Bought two different types of avocados at the new convenience store, then ordered a replacement screen for my phone from the shop running out of a U-Haul in the Dunkin' Donuts parking lot. Came home (past the fancy charcuterie shop) to my replacement wheelbarrow being delivered (our second one was stolen Sunday night) as a distraction from the helicopters and police sirens from a shooting down the avenue. #Dorchester#Boston
#Boston and #LosAngeles will head to the #NBA finals after rousing, come from behind, 4-game winning streaks we've seen no hint they're capable of yet. Fret not! They were luring the #Nuggets and #Heat into a false sense of...
Oh, heck. I can't even kid myself. I smell toast. 0-3 toast. Or I have COVID again. Toast!

#boston#bike folks: there are a great new set of bike lanes proposed in Jamaica Plain connecting the southwest corridor and the bike paths at jamaica pond and the muddy river trail. There is also a small, yet vocal group of NIMBYs working against those on at least one part of the project. Best way to advocate in favor? City councilors? Other places?
#Philadelphia is struggling with #Boston D, jacking up tough shots. Meanwhile, those tough shots lead to fast break opportunities for the #Celtics who comfortably lead the #Sixers 80-58 w/ 2:39 to go in the 3rd.

Hey-ho #Boston#MA peeps. I just had some ugly scratches and dents in my minivan repaired in front of my house in < an hour by Mitch Stergo, for far less than a body shop would have charged. He did a great job. If you've got scratches and dings in your vehicle that are driving you crazy but don't want to pay body-shop prices to repair them, give him a call at 617-708-6137 or email DentStoppers@gmail.com.
UPDATE: I recently recommended Mitch Stergo at 617-708-6137 for #Boston people looking for cheap car dent repair. I need to rescind that recommendation.
Mitch claimed he would color-match my paint, but the paint he used isn't a proper match.
He claimed he would come back and finish the work in a couple weeks; he hasn't returned and ignored my texts and emails.
When I spoke to him on the phone, he claimed to be out of town and promised to contact me when he got back. He never did. (continued)
