Last night, in the wee hrs, #Niko got the hiccups. Such is my brain that I immediately began to obsess about possible cataclysmic reasons for this, and we were all up for several hours staring at him and smooching him and, for #Gracie especially, trying to comfort everyone.
We are somewhat tired this morning. Nobody's hiccuping anymore.
#Dogs : Touch me all over, no not there, faster, too fast, I must jump on you to show my love, rub my belly, no, pet my neck, ooh scratch right there, too hard, more to the left, wait kisses!
Had to watch my brother's dogs this morning. Here's my best buddy Hobbit. He's remembering how he used to be the only dog, but now has 2 bratty sisters.
We came home from the lake, and I noticed the dark violet color variety of #iris was in bloom. #hydrangeas are changing colors nicely. Kengo gave a side eye...
We had planned to go on a trail, but the park gate was still closed. It used to be 'open at dawn' but now not until 7am. Change of plan. A #silentsaturday instead at the lake on a cool (52F/11C) morning. A heron flew away as we approached.

Beautiful day for a rumpus in the woods! I’m going to take a couple weeks off, for the first real vacation I’ve had in many years, so it was extra nice to close out on such a lovely note.
Kevin is a an athletic, high- energy dog who needs to leave the shelter as soon as possible!
His person had a demanding schedule and ...described Kevin as a sweetheart who just needs a family who has a bit more time for him.
Kevin spent seven months in another home. They love Kevin very much, but their home wasn’t quite the right fit. Could your home be the right forever home for Kevin??
One thing about Moxxi is that she has zero chill when we're at the cabin. There's always so much to do and so much to see that she stays up until she crashes at about 8pm.
So let's just say that this photo is a maaaassive win.
