I really like the low-profile design, the base is really solid, no connection issues, everything works as expected.
The only real problem with this thing is the keycaps. I just broke one by accidentally popping it off. They have these flimsy plastic clips that keep them in the place, and I just knew one would break sooner or later.
Also the black coating has started to wear off on common keys.
Some of you asked for keyboard porn :cch: :key_bananasplits: :key_lavender:
Akko MG108B Taro Purple (V3 Cream Yellow Pro Switches). Feels amazing while typing. Camera unfortunately doesn’t show the true colour too well though, it’s a lot less grey than it looks.
Had this unbuilt keyboard prototype lying around for way over a year now.
Fully finished PCB with working firmware and everything.
Most of the parts for the case already 3D printed out just waiting for assembly (only thing missing is the switch backplate)...
I even got really nice looking color matching keycaps for it.
One of those projects I guess 😶
I should probably finish it...
Post your daily driver keeb. Doesn’t have to be mechanical. Here’s mine (minus the artisans, they’re just window-dressing whenever I take it to meetups). #Mechanicalkeyboards#mechanicalkeyboard#mechkeys
Just finished up this one. No-stabilizers, handwired custom 98% layout. 3D printed case and feet, plate laser cut from 3.2mm Masonite, blank XDA laser dye-subbed in a Josefin Sans Medium font. Not exactly professional fit and finish, but it types nice with Box Jades, and ZERO STAB RATTLE! ZERO!!!
Some #MechanicalKeyboard fans are celebrating the 40th day of year with #40sDay and photos of their keyboards that are 40% or less the size of a full size keeb.
Here’s my Unicorne by Boardsource and a custom cable by MechCables. Each half of the keyboard includes a joystick.
Anyone here using a split ergo #keyboard?
Was thinking of building one, but confused between corneV2 and Lily58 pro. How has your experience been with those boards? #mechanicalkeyboard#ergonomickeyboard
