I'm thinking seriously about getting Google out of my life, and trying NextCloud.

Looking to get a personal account through a managed provider.

Does anyone have any experience with it?

How does it compare to ownCloud?

Any hosts I should look at or avoid?

Any apps I should get for it, or avoid?

Any issues I should be aware of before I switch?

If you have more than one computer (and believe me, you do) syncing your files is a must

Why is it that there is no version / distribution of that does exactly what does? Well, without the bad aspects like spying on you.

I wonder if Microsoft is somehow suppressing this possibility… otherwise everyone would be using Linux 🤷

Why copy some trashy OS when you can make something way better?

Aside from the price, the fact that the bottom row only has 4 keys per hand is a no-go

The Work Louder Nomad looks niiiiiiiice. Has a digital info screen with timer, system stats, even a fun little tamagotchi-style companion. Low profile keycaps and "Atomic " switches. Hotswappable. Knobs reminiscent of TeenageEngineering equipment. Pricey but god how meesa want it. Preorder status right now.

Oh, the profile is fine by me, you can always tilt your keyboard. It's the printing that I despise, it's nefarious

I think that if they really wanted to canary test it, they should have released it for Linux first

This is a tough one. I think or mainly depends on the inclination of your keyboard, how ergonomic it is and the layout you use.

I like MT3 because lately they offer compatibility with Workman and Colemak and their tallness allow them a deep sound profile
