The swallows have returned only to find that the wrens moved into the nest next door over the winter. They are noisy, anti social and have built a moss nest extension that doesn’t meet swallow building regulations. After filing a complaint with the Parliament of Crows, they are just going to have to start again. Fortunately there’s plenty of straw and mud.

@ppk what do you mean by "doesn't work"? That would create a scope using the parent selector div#important.

Thanks to @5t3ph's excellent Modern CSS Newsletter (https://moderncss.dev/newsletter/), I learned that not only will Firefox 117 support CSS nesting, it will also support the CSSWG's new nesting rules where you no longer need the & before an element selector! 🎉
