Is anyone out there having an amazing experience with #pixelfed? I feel like it's not as fun as #instagram for me. I recently switched from the beta #android app to #pixeldroid and am liking the layout change, but still not feeling the community/engagement aspect.
Worth noting that I joined a Japanese server to work on my #Japanese. Honestly could be a big part of it. Perhaps bigger server = better quality interactions?
Is it just me? The home feed of Pixelfed (at least of my instance, web UI, #pixelfedapp and #pixeldroid) basically doesn't work, instead it's lagging or stuck.
I usually don't see much more than what is shown on the screenshot.
I know that code refactoring is in progress. But should it really get better after that?
Up to now, the news are mainly about new features such as hashtag following.

Alguien ve bien el perfil de @Detuned desde su app para #Mastodon? Desde #Fedilab no me carga contenido y desde #Pixeldroid crashea al intentar abrir/ampliar una foto.
Desde Fedilab vuelvo a tener errores para subir imágenes a #Pixelfed también. Siempre hay problemas.

An issue with #Pixelfed: After the app/web ui start there is a significant lag before the first posts are loaded. Can it be improved by a different approach or by performance improvements?
I've said it before: For now people really don't need more features but the maturation of the code and structure of this amazing project plus access to the apps.
does anyone else have issues viewing the #pixelfed timelines on the website? for a while now the pixelfed.de webpage doesn't properly show my timelines. neither does #pixeldroid come to think of it.
