A few days ago we found out about Amigo. A sampler made by PotenzaDSP and Stekker that emulates the samplers from the 80s. It is
cheap and very good. You can pick it up here: https://potenzadsp.com/amigo/

FYI: We started with these kind of tools in the 80s!

@amadeus Indeed - it really cool that they support Linux, OSX and Windows right out of the box.

They should consider working together with Sinevibes for a fully fledged sampler + dope fx some day!

@solidtrax In the meantime you may have already heard that Sinevibes are coming to Linux Audio! 😜 Integer has already been released as a Linux native Plugin an hour or so ago:

So, who knows what might be possible next. 😇

I believe this is a pretty new feature within Kagi Search. You can click on the yellow/orange shield with the exclamation mark in it and you get the popup that you see here.

This popup tells you just how many ads and trackers that specific site uses as well as what category of ads and trackers it uses.

This is one of the neatest things I've seen Kagi Search add so far.

@cliffwade I have been using Kagi for a little bit over six months and paying with crypto and really enjoying the service.

@shortwavesurfer2009 Nice. I've been using it for about 3 - 4 months thanks to @jcrabapple recommending it since he uses it, or at least used to use it.

Android’s Find My Device network settings FINALLY start going live for some users

Nearly a year ago at Google I/O, the new “Find My Device” network for trackers was announced for Android, but then delayed indefinitely for the benefit of iPhone users. Now, finally, the network is starting to roll out – sort of.

The Find My Devi ...continues

I don't use an . I haven't used an ad blocker in a decade or more. I see plenty of ads on the web. What I do is block third-party and known cross-site . The number of sites (even apparently legitimate sites) that implore me to disable my ad blocker is disappointing.

@elb how do you prevent javascript from running on your machine?

@enoclue I don't, entirely. I run JShelter and Privacy Badger, plus strong privacy settings in Firefox, and I make heavy use of containers.
