Turns out that it is possible to load and play prime videos - thanks to some help from @khaost! I’ll be posting updates on this thread and hopefully if I run into any problems, someone will be kind and knowledgeable enough to help 🙏🏻😁.
This is what Amazon Prime Video could have looked like on visionOS had they not restricted web playback on mobile Webkit.
Did all this work and then realized that Prime Video requires the Widevine plugin to be present which mobile safari does not support. Interestingly, Prime Video works on desktop Safari, and forcing the user agent on mobile Safari to be desktop Safari doesn’t work. ☹️
Having become obsessed with #Cyberpunk2077 over the last several weeks and watching the #AppleVisionPro reviews, here’s what I want. Apple should take the Cyberpunk IP and fund a VR #mmorpg.
Or take their own SciFi IP - Foundation or maybe the upcoming Murderbot Diaries. Wouldn’t that be massive.
The personas are starting to look really good in #visionOS 1.1, take them all the way.
@hiro Thank you, Hiro! I’ve actually been toying with a similar idea as an iOS and macOS widget app for a while and figured it provides even more value on #visionOS where it’s easy to lose track of time and space when you’re working fully immersed haha 😂

How does Safari get an ornament on the top of the screen and floating above (not on top) of the main content itself?
I’m probably missing something obvious here but I couldn’t figure out how.
<sigh/> truth is, #tapprtv for #visionOS is afflicted by a random but persistent bug that I cannot track down. Using #CompositorServices, In the middle of my renderFrame function, the worldTrackingProvider pauses. This smells like a race condition to me. With that unexpected paused, the device anchor can’t be queried, the drawables aren’t presented, the layerRenderer becomes invalidated, and my render thread exits.
Know anyone who has successfully shipped using CompositorServices?
Still has many rough edges that I plan to polish out over the weekend but the basics should mostly work. Since I plan to launch on the App Store after the weekend, please let me know if you have questions or encounter serious bugs!

Virtris is a classic arcade falling block game that's available for visonOS It has an immersive space mode built in as well where you can lock yourself away to focus on the falling blocks Hope you like it!

Persona feature really is disturbing. Not because it is uncanny, but because associated with tech Apple does own like Personal Voice, they are the perfect visiocall impersonation tools ever created yet.
I wonder how much it can already be abused as of today 😬
Let's hope the data involved is safely guarded by the system.
