I said everything is better with a mascot, right? 😁

I learned that Tyson Tan, the artist that, among other things, did the KDE and Krita mascot, also designed a mascot, Libbie, for LibreOffice, but the mascot contest was cancelled because stuff wasn't "professional enough" or something. BUT all his art was available, thus, I took inspiration by this (outdated) project https://github.com/sdomi/libbieoffice and set my own Libbie Splash & Icons with his artwork.

Folder with the LibreOffice shortcuts. Each individual icon has been replaced with a different-coloured depiction of Libbie, each showing the corresponding colours of the original application.

#Ecosia hat die Datenschutzbedingungen aktualisiert.

Explizit weggefallen ist der Teil, dass die letzten zwei Segmente der IP-Adresse "verschleiert" werden.

Stattdessen werden zukünftig explizit Suchbegriffe UND IP-Adresse an Bing und, bei Zustimmung, an Google übermittelt.

Sehr schade, ich halte von Ecosia als Unternehmen viel, aber der Wegfall der "Verschleierung" vor Übertragung ist ein echter Rückschritt.

It seems I totally missed that the PS5 will get a feature akin to Xbox' "co-pilot mode", where you can use two controllers to act as one, either so you can use them to spread inputs, or to have another person assist you.

This is awesome and I totally missed these news!

Reading the Wikipedia article for the SNES game "Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose!":

"As is common for the era, the full ending is only accessed by finishing the game on hard."

Fuck that, I'm glad most games these days have stopped keeping endings behind specific difficulties.

But old-school platformers are a thing of their own anyway. I could never beat the SNES Animaniacs game.

I DO generally suck at platformers, though.
Ironic, consider my RealZero name is based on one. 😅

Ich hoffe nur wirklich, dass deren KI-Live-Untertitel dann besser sind, als die von Microsoft Teams, denn, naaja, die sind teilweise wirklich schlecht. 😅

I'm generally really bad at platformer games and such, but I wonder if I'll ever complete the Animaniacs SNES game, because damn, everything was so fast!

Also, the introduction of actual save-files instead of long passwords to write down was a nice point in videogame history. 😅

I finished "Röki".
It's a very nice "point and click adventure" with Nordic mythology and really beautiful locations.

I enjoyed the style and story.

The exhausting part about being any kind of "left-winged" or stuff like that is that you don't only have to argue and fight with fascists, assholes and such, but also with other left-winged people not satisfied with HOW you fight your common enemy, if you're not "doing it enough" or "are not x enough" or "you mustn't do y if you are one of us".

That's really disappointing. At least online I can block and mute people.
But still feels bad to hear insults from those you constantly defend/support.

I know the Google Store has stuff like Anycast and such, but is there any open source thingy?

VLC for Android doesn't seem to have such an option. 🤔

Schwierig:

Wollte mir ein Armband von #Bracenet holen (https://bracenet.net), weil ich die Idee cool finde Plastikmüll loszuwerden, daraus was zu machen, und Bracenet wirkt korrekt.

Jetzt habe ich aber gesehen (Quelle: https://bracenet.net/blog/partnerschaft-lebenshilfewerk-neumuenster/), dass sie in Werkstätten des "Lebenshilfewerk Neumünster" fertigen lassen.

Ist das jetzt also doch Mist und Ausnutzen, oder ist der "Verein" anders? Ich will nicht Ausnutzung von Menschen weiter unterstützen. 😢

Ich habe gerade für nen 20er Call Of Duty Black Ops Cold War gekauft.

Bin gespannt wie gut mir die Kampagne gefällt. MP und Zombies interessieren mich nicht; daher ignoriere diese Teile des Spiels.

Der Speicherhunger ist allerdings auch dann nicht zu verachten.
Kampagne plus hochauflösende Inhalte belegen 175GB Speicherplatz😯
Wenn ich alles installieren würde, wäre ich sogar bei 231GB🤯.
