I’m trying to find information on the people we’re supposed to be voting for in the council elections today, and it ain’t easy.

They’ve all spent a fortune on shit to throw through our door, all of which has been funneled into the recycling, but basically none of them have a website with any information.

How hard is it in this day and age to throw up a quick, single page site that simply lists your plans, with a link to your socials?

Today and probably for weeks the news will be full of an endless queue of politicians and press telling the people of Scotland how we should run our affairs. The vast vast majority of these people will be English and will never have lived or worked in Scotland. Can anyone see why the desire for independence doesn't fall?

It’s just been pointed out to me that the reason Apple runs a trade-in programme for older devices is so they can reduce the size of the used market, and has fuck all to do with recycling.

    Any UK wanting to chime in.... a friend has a month's worth of his ADHD meds left and has said that it's going to be hard to get more as stocks have dried up. It was funny as my own (not ADHD) meds seem to be going that way too.... had to go around five chemists today to find stock. The second chemist was saying it's hard to get even basic meds in.

    So..... any pharmacists on here care to share why? My guess is striking again.

    I was in the Gower Street Waterstones today, asking about where to find books on neurodiversity. Got told they could be in any of three or four places depending on the type of book it is. Made me wonder, when a bookshop is that big, wouldn't using Dewey decimal be a better option? @bookstodon πŸ“š
