I'm looking for anyone who can confirm this.

For several years now, I've been frustrated that my copy of Official Nintendo Magazine 20 - September 2007 (UK) has page 43 and 44 torn out.
That's why it hasn't been released yet.

I bought a second copy last year and to my horror it had the same problem.

Not it seems that this was done by the team itself as page 43 was a misprint and they tore it out of the magazine before shipping?!

Can anyone confirm this?

@OutofPrintArchive The ridiculous attention to detail and dedication you have to preserving these magazines is mind blowing and inspiring.

@OutofPrintArchive 20 years!?!?

I scanned those PS1 manuals for a few weeks and was completely burned out by the end of it. ๐Ÿ˜…

So I mean it when I say your dedication is inspiring.

Keep up the awesome work! ๐Ÿ‘

Judeau,
@Judeau@mas.to avatar

@OutofPrintArchive @bioluminescently That's wild! Sounds like both a good and bad experience.

Diehard Gamefan was one of my favorite game magazines.

When it closed and Dave started Play Magazine I started buying them at the store each month. After years of this I decided I should probably subscribe.

I got on their website and paid for a subscription. The magazine folded that month. They took my money and ran. ๐Ÿ˜‚

When the relaunch of Gamefan came out I was excited but it didn't last long.๐Ÿ˜ž

Judeau,
@Judeau@mas.to avatar

@OutofPrintArchive @bioluminescently I'm not sure what happened in my case.

I don't think that's the norm here. When I subscribed to Newtype USA and they folded the rest of the subscription got transferred to some other media magazine that had DVD reviews and music reviews.

I totally would not have complained if I had received a copy of Run Saber instead. ๐Ÿ˜

Judeau,
@Judeau@mas.to avatar

@steamdeckhq I have been looking very forward to this.

Amid Evil is one of my favorite Shooters released in the last several years. It was so close to being an all-time classic for me, but fell just short due to some of the level design in the later levels.

It's a must buy for me but hopefully they refined the rough edges a bit in this release.

I bought for my last week.

I grew up playing Quake on the and never really gave the PC version a fair shake.

I bought the remastered Nightdive version. It looks great and plays great but it looks so sterile. To my amazement the Saturn version still has the best atmosphere by far. The enhanced light sourcing adds a ton.

Is there a way to get the Saturn's atmospheric lighting in the PC version?

    @OutofPrintArchive This was the first game I ever got for my DS along with Metroid Pinball.

    I already kind of wanted one but this was the game that sold me on one.

    I was super excited for the sequel and bought it the day it came out, but for some reason have never spent much time with it. I think it was because it took forever to come out and then by the point that it did there were so many other games that I was hooked on. I need to make my way back around to the sequel.

    Continuing on my journey to play a lot more beat 'em ups, today I discovered a real gem on Switch, thanks to Hamster and their Arcade lineup.

    Zero Team!
    I had no idea that Seibu Kaihatsu made a beat 'em up and from the looks of it, this was their only one.

    Such a fun game as well!

    It took quite a while to get here, but finally got my Play Asia order today.
    First up is the Telenet Shooting Collection which includes Granada (Mega Drive) (1990), Gaiares (Mega Drive) (1990), Avenge (PC-Engine) (1990), and Psychic Storm (PC-Engine) (1992).

    And the second one is The Atelier Marie Remake.
    I just love TecmoKoei, Gust and the Atelier series, so this was a must have for me. ๐Ÿฅฐ

    Playing and wondering why we still donโ€™t have a Shining Force Online. Phantasy Star Online is wildly successful it just makes sense. The turn based nature could allow for a more asynchronous experience too similar to correspondence chess (obviously with agreed upon turn time limits etc).

    Judeau,
    @Judeau@mas.to avatar

    @nil The Shining Force games are amazing.

    I just replayed Shining Force CD last year. Completed all four books. It was unbelievably fun.

    I would have loved a Shining Force 4 for the Dreamcast.

    Like you said... Online... Or maybe it could have had an online mode where you pit your Shining Force characters against another person or better yet several different people with their Shining Force characters on the battlefield at the same time and you all battle it out with one another.

    Yearly reminder to charge all your portables, controllers, and anything with an internal battery at least once a year, or better yet, every 6 months.

    This way you lower the risk of the batteries going bad and starting to bloat.
    I had this happen with 4 PSP ones a couple of years ago, so I started taking precautions.

    Excuse the mess, as this is the only place where I have more than a dozen outlets in the same spot. :blobcatscared:
